Mindy
Harmon Photography will soon be launching a hip (yes, I just used the
word hip!) new site just for high school seniors and young adults. In
preparation for the grand opening of the new site in the Fall, I am looking
for 2008, 2009 and 2010 high school seniors to come join me for a photo
shoot like you've never experienced before! Join our Summer Model Team,
earn cash and get lots of cool stuff for free!!!
We'll
try some fun stuff in the studio and also hop around to a few different
outdoor locations to try out some new hot spots and styles. Why settle
for only having senior portraits from one day out of your entire senior
year? The shoot outs not only give you the opportunity to take photos
on several different days, but you can also bring friends along and get
group shots too! Check the schedule below for upcoming Model Team Shoot
Outs and then click RSVP to reserve your spot. |

is it happening? |
| |
| June
Shoot Out - June 28th - Urban theme, shot in local alley ways to
get a 'grungy' downtown, eclectic feel for senior portraits. RSVP
for June Shoot Out |

| July
Shoot Out - July 27th - Uptown theme, shot at The Woodlands Waterway.
We'll tour the Waterway area and take everything from scenic water shots
to fun shots outside Waterway pubs and shops! RSVP

| What
is a Shoot Out? |
| It's
basically a group photo session (on steroids!). The shoot out will be a
fun, group effort between all of the Model Team and the photographer. We'll
collaborate on what the Team would like to see in pictures and make those
ideas come to life in photographs. While waiting turns to be the model,
Team members will be able to learn a bit about professional photography...
assisting with lighting and reflectors or giving ideas for composition and
posing. |

| Why
aren't shoot out times listed? |
| This
is the internet! To protect the safety of all of the participants, specific
times and location details will not be posted on the internet. Shoot outs
will generally take place in late afternoon and early evenings. When you
RSVP, an information packet will be sent out to you with all of the information
that you will need. |

| Do
I need my parent's permission? |
| If
you are under 18, absolutely! When you RSVP, you will given a permission
form and a model release that your parents will need to sign. You MUST have
this form signed in order to participate the day of the Shoot Out. |

| Do
I need to have modeling experience? |
| Nope!
We're here to just have some fun.....and I'll be helping you with posing
along the way. |
| |
| What
do I need to wear? |
| Whatever
you want! This is a time where you can express yourself if you want. These
aren't your formal senior portraits, so mom and dad won't care if you wear
those Abercrombie torn jeans or the Ed Hardy shirt with skulls on it! You
can even bring different clothes for different shots too. Just remember
that there won't be a changing room outside! So, if you want to change,
make sure it's something that you can change in and out of outdoors. Girls...maybe
wear a tank top under your clothes so that you can change out tops easily.
Or, you can just keep the same clothes throughout the shoot. |

| How
long does the Shoot Out last? |
| Plan
on at least a couple of hours....but, it will be a fun couple of hours...you
will want to stay longer! |

| Can
my mom and little sister come along? |
| Of
course, parents can tag along, but we do ask that siblings stay at home
for the Shoot Out. This is going to be a busy time, with lots of equipment
and we don't want little ones to get hurt. |
| |
| Will
my parents be able to purchase photos from the shoot? |
| Of
course! After the Shoot Out, a special web site will be set up so that you
can view all of the photos from the shoot and purchase prints if you wish.
Prints purchases are not required for you to be able to participate. |
